The 12^th Parallel Dinner and Dance was simply a blast for me. This highly anticipated hall event surpassed my personal expectations. To see my hall friends don up different kind of personalities, playing good or evil persona for the night, was an exhilarating sight and experience for me. With great ambience and Hall spirit, the activities were simply enjoyable. The program line-up was smooth and flawless, with REALLY exciting and desirable lucky draw gifts up for grabs. Although I was not one of the lucky ones, this night filled with every kind of heroes and villains was simply unforgettable.

Thank you for the memories, Hall 12.

Before attending Hall12′s Dnd, I wasnt expecting too much from it, considering the fact it was my 2nd Dnd this year(1st one was NBS Dnd) and I wouldnt have thought our Hall’s Dnd to be any much different from my school’s. However, I was proven wrong because the Dnd turned out to be pretty different and fun after all! I think the Dnd commitee did a good job on the videos(entertaining) and for organising the various pageant programmes etc. It was also fun taking pictures with fellow hall mates who were dressed in different superhero or villian costumes to suit the theme and I think it was a worthwhile memorable experience.

Kudos to everyone who made the event a success! =)

The 12th Parallel: Dinner and Dance 2008. One of the most anticipated events of Hall 12 and it really hyped up the entire hall. We saw the greatest beauties and hunks in Hall 12 with everyone dressing up with all sorts of themes. The food was great and the entertainment by the MC is just marvelous.
Well done DND 2008~!

Crowned

Hall 12 has crowned Charlie and Kaiwen as Hall King and Hall Queen!

Other winners include Ms Photogenic, Audrey, Ms Popular, Shu Yu and Mr Personality, Bernard.

Congratulations to all the pageant contestants for making it through DND, wowing us with your performances and how you’ve all been enriched by the experience. We thank you for giving us a memorable evening.

Then again, it wasn’t just an evening. It was a month of hard work, laughter and glamour. The 10 of you have fuelled our passion for The 12th Parallel upon agreeing to work with us, the DND committee, to put up an immensely entertaining show that’ll have the residents talking for years to come.

This webby will cease to be updated after the 30th of September. But till then, it’s a month long of DND coverage where we’ll milk the event for photos, videos, comments until… well… the next DND.

Keep your eyes peeled.

This is the last post before The 12th Parallel kicks off tomorrow night at The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

While you are reading this post the contestants are likely to be sweating it out at rehearsals, peeing their pants in nervousness, getting plenty of beauty sleep, or all of the above.

I’ve heard even more rumours about the performances for tomorrow. It seems that the pageant contestants are ready to channel High School Musical, James Bond and Travis… The level of secrecy is so high that we are unable to show any photos or videos of the rehearsals without risking the annihilation of this website forever.

Okay. Maybe not.

Hero or Villain, we’ll see you tomorrow night, 6:30pm.

Rehearsal Mashup

The contestants have rehearsed really hard for DND. Here’s a video mashup of them dancing, walking, and playing the fool. Complete with some of the most LOL moments not to be missed, and you get to see it exclusively here. They are slated to be down for 3 more rehearsals before giving you guys the biggest show of the year! We’ve got more dancing, catwalking and… singing! Also, if that doesn’t cause you to wet your pants, there are rumours of $250 cash and an 8 GB thumbdrive to be won.

The Haircut

Out of all our contestants, only one lucky guy got a hair cut at Hair Profile last week before the Pageant Preview!

Despite the fact that his hairstyle was unique, some people were dissatisfied and thought that it could be better.

And so the people at Hair Profile gave it a bit of a spruce.

And now… Charlie is a happy boy.
